Converse enlisted Vice & Pulse to help the global expansion of their Rubber Tracks Initiative with a 4-part series to be featured on Noisey & Viceland TV.
In partnership with Converse Rubber tracks and Cornerstone agency, we created a 4-part series featuring 4 unsigned acts recording their demo with their music heroes at the most iconic studios around the world. With Vices unparalleled network of worldwide music journalists and the ability to source the most exciting talent from local markets, we could create a truly global campaign.
Each episode captures our bands traveling from their hometowns on a journey that could change their lives forever.
EP 1: Chinese punk band, The Pumpkins from Shanghai meet Marky Ramone at Berlin’s world famous Hansa Tonstudio.
EP 2: Brazilian band Water Rats travel to Seattle, WA to cut their demo at Avast Recording Company.
EP 3: Dab from London takes time out from his studies to record with Mark Ronson at the legendary abbey Road studios.
EP 4: Magic Gang from Brighton travel 4700 miles to record with Sly and Robbie at Tuff Gong Studios.
