When empathy is at the core of your brand and a natural disaster coincides with your holiday ad, it’s time to walk the walk.
We were tasked with creating an integrated 360 campaign which was evocative of the new Lincoln brand ethos - that empathy is at the heart of everything Lincoln does. So we created a charming seasonal 60 sec spot with multiple Cut-downs capturing the Reunification of Daughter and family dog over the holiday period.
At the time of production, California was experiencing the worst wildfires ever recorded. A town called Paradise was being engulfed. A state of Emergency was issued and families had to flee their homes and were advised to take only essentials, which doesn’t include pets. Thousands of animals were lost and left behind.
For a brand to truly prove it’s ethos, it has to put words into action. Thousands of homeless dogs were being sheltered at Chico Airport, where the North Valley Animal disaster group had set up a temporary animal shelter. So We enlisted the help of the Dogist (@thedogist), Instagrams most popular dog Photographer, to turn his social channel into a rehoming destination.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS
All dogs were either re-homed or returned to their owners. To celebrate we created this follow up Piece featuring some of our dogs Either being reunited with their owners or in their new homes.
